Osazee "O" Omokaro is the CEO & Founder of Double O Athletics.
Osazee was born in Nigeria and lived there for thirteen years before moving to Connecticut with his family. He has always been a passionate athlete who enjoys basketball, soccer, and football.
Osazee played on the University of Connecticut Men's Basketball team from 2004-2006. His hard work and dedication paid off when he made the team as a walk-on during his junior year. Osazee played under Hall-of-Fame head coach Jim Calhoun, and he was a member of the 2006 Elite Eight team featuring future NBA stars Rudy Gay, Hilton Armstrong, Marcus Williams, and Josh Boone.
In addition to his drive to becoming an elite athlete, Osazee has the ability and desire to inspire others. After his senior year of college, he spent time developing his coaching skills by working as a coach's assistant with the UConn men's basketball team. During the spring and summer of 2006, Osazee served as Assistant Coach for the Connecticut Wolfpark AAU team based out of Danbury, CT. He has also spent several summers as a coach at the Jim Calhoun Basketball Camp and the Hatters Hoop Camp. More recently, Osazee coached the Minutemen AAU Organization for two seasons, as well as Scarsdale youth travel teams. This season, he is coaching U-17 with Chris Ward Basketball (CWB) as an assistant.
Osazee is a NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) certified CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist). It is a unique combination of enthusiasm, motivational skills, experience, and commitment that makes Osazee a very sought-after trainer. He brings an exceptional level of positive energy to every class while integrating knowledge gained through years of competitive athletics and sports training. Furthermore, he possesses an unwavering commitment to enhancing clients' personal performance to help him or her reach their individualized goals.
